Working Student - Accounting & Finance in Munich

TWAICE is hiring an entry-level Working Student in Accounting & Finance to join their team in Munich on a hybrid basis. The organization develops software that turns battery data into insights to support the global energy transition. This role requires candidates to be enrolled Master's students in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a comparable field, with 0 to 2 years of experience and fluent English alongside German at a B2 level.

Your Responsibilities in Accounting

• Take the lead on parts of Accounts Payable through Spendesk for German and US entities, including checking invoices under HGB/US-GAAP, applying accounts and cost centers, and preparing payments.
• Assist with monthly closing activities by coordinating with internal stakeholders and tax advisors, ensuring accurate expense recording and proper bookings.
• Support monthly financial reporting, cost and budget tracking, and own the documentation of finance processes for auditors and tax advisors.
• Contribute to bonus topics such as expense management optimization, Accounts Receivable, and process improvements.

What TWAICE Offers

The position requires a minimum availability of 15 hours per week with flexible working days around exams and the ability to visit the central Munich headquarters at least once per week. The hourly wage is €18 for Master's students. TWAICE notes that this position has the potential to become a permanent role upon graduation.
