Working Student - Accounting & Finance in Munich

TWAICE is seeking an entry-level Working Student - Accounting & Finance (m/f/d) to join their finance team in Munich on a hybrid basis. In this role, you will handle day-to-day operations and take on real ownership to help keep the business running as it accelerates the energy transition with battery analytics software. This position offers the potential to become a permanent role upon graduation.

Your Responsibilities

• Take the lead on parts of Accounts Payable through Spendesk for German and US entities, including checking invoices under HGB/US-GAAP and preparing payments.
• Assist with monthly closing activities, coordinate with tax advisors and internal stakeholders, and ensure proper booking and reconciliation.
• Support monthly financial reporting, cost and budget tracking, and own the documentation of finance processes for auditors and colleagues.
• Contribute to bonus topics like expense management optimization, Accounts Receivable, and tool improvements.

Requirements and Working Conditions

Candidates must be enrolled Master's students in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a comparable field with 0-2 years of experience and a strong interest in practical accounting. You need fluent English and German at a B2 level, plus basic knowledge of accounting principles such as HGB or US-GAAP. Prior exposure to DATEV, QuickBooks, or Spendesk is a plus.

Working hours require a minimum of 15 hours per week with a flexible schedule around exams, including at least one day per week at the central Munich office. The hourly rate is €18 for Master's students, alongside a market competitive setup and close collaboration with experienced finance professionals.
