Translation Project Coordinator (Full Remote/Full Time) - Gaming

Side, a global leader in video game development and creative services, is looking to hire a Translation Project Coordinator for a full-time, fully remote position. Based in Canada or Portugal, this mid-level management role is an opportunity to join a team that supports some of the largest gaming studios in the world, helping to deliver localization projects that bring stories to international audiences.

Core Responsibilities

• Coordinate project schedules, workflows, and resource allocation to ensure high-quality, timely delivery.
• Manage client and vendor communication, maintaining strong stakeholder relationships.
• Conduct project scoping, effort estimation, and feasibility assessments.
• Monitor project financial performance, including budgets, margins, and resource utilization.
• Perform quality assessments, including sanity checks and editing distance analysis.
• Troubleshoot operational challenges and proactively mitigate project risks.
• Support cross-functional tasks, such as machine translation deployment and LQA coordination.
• Maintain documentation to ensure visibility and process efficiency.
• Track and report on project delivery and operational KPIs.

Requirements and Qualifications

To be considered for this Translation Project Coordinator role, you must hold a Bachelor’s degree and possess at least one year of experience in project coordination, ideally within the localization, language services, or video game industries. You should be proficient with CAT tools (such as memoQ) and familiar with project management platforms. We are looking for a proactive, solution-oriented professional with strong communication skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
