Vice President, Account Management

Datavant is hiring a senior-level Vice President, Account Management to lead our management efforts for large, complex healthcare provider customers across the USA. In this role, you will sit at the center of healthcare's data ecosystem, building executive-level relationships, driving revenue growth, and establishing long-term partnerships.

Key Responsibilities

• Build trusted, executive-level relationships across multiple customer stakeholders.
• Lead contract renewals and expansion negotiations alongside GTM and Finance teams.
• Anticipate and resolve account risks while championing Datavant's digital tools and workflows.
• Collaborate with Service Delivery, Product, and Marketing to align on customer commitments.

Candidate Requirements

Applicants need 8 to 12+ years of experience in healthcare account management, strategic sales, or a services-oriented role, plus a bachelor's degree (an advanced degree is noted as a plus). You must also have a strong familiarity with healthcare provider operations and HIPAA considerations, along with a willingness to travel frequently, typically 50% to 75% of the time.

Compensation and Client Requirements

The base salary for this management position ranges from $145,600 to $167,400 per year, depending on background and scope, and the role is also eligible for variable compensation. Additionally, candidates should note that many healthcare clients require post-offer health screenings and proof of specific vaccinations such as flu, Tdap, and COVID-19, with exemption requests reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
